WHAT THE HELL SHOULD I DO
TO TAKE YOU OUT OF MY HEAD
THE STATE WHERE I’M IN
I THINK IT’S IMPOSSIBLE
I can feel pumpkins smashing in MY HEAD
The way you taste
It’s so incredible
Today is the greatest day I ever had
I can’t feel my brain
I can’t feel my soul
Today is the greatest day I ever had
Oh, it’s so sweet
It’s so terrible (x2)

I'm drenched in fear
I've cuddled since my birth
I've been told the proud shall inherit this earth
I've done my duty but nothing came of it
the world is a terrible place yet i'm terrified of dying
the world is a terrible place yet i'm terrified of dying
I was raised in fear
An easy target since my birth
I've been told the proud shall inherit this earth
I've done my duty but nothing came of it
the world is a terrible place yet i'm terrified of dying
the world is a terrible place yet i'm terrified of dying
Always assured that everything would be alright
Amid expectations only boredom can bring
Nothing but empty promises beyond the laughter
And a mysterious melody I can't help but whisper
the world is a terrible place
the world is a terrible place
the world is a terrible place
yet i'm terrified of dying
the world is a terrible place
the world is a terrible place
the world is a terrible place
yet i'm terrified of dying
I
am
terrified
of dying
the world is a terrible place
the world is a terrible place
the world is a terrible place
yet i'm terrified of dying
I
am
terrified
of dying

We Should Go Out Tonight

We Should Go Out Tonight
we should go out tonight
since we are broken inside
with no money to throw around
nor a single utopia to be found
with hopes hanging by a thread
we’re only begging to be fed
toiling away at bullshit jobs
at the mercy of cruel, wealthy gods
we’re nothing but naïve, selfish sobs
thinking we deserve more than we got
making mediocre plans we can’t afford
enjoying tonight until we are all lost
we should go out tonight
since we are broken inside
I swear it ain’t my fault
the world ain’t what I thought
was it last year our bodies collided
drenched in curiosity and pride
there might be irony in our decay
a lesson I couldn’t bear to stay
we’re nothing but naïve, selfish sobs
thinking we deserve more than we got
making mediocre plans we can’t afford
enjoying tonight until we are all lost

I submit myself to your charms
I place the blame upon the stars
From a certain distance we kiss
We toast to the love we might have
We sail through the time we received
A guiltless illusion of my part
We fake what we force ourselves to feel
You'll forget me when we depart
We are so hopeless
Yet so naïve
We started to swim
After we already drowned
Yeah, I bought a fantasy
Which I forgot to leave
I submit myself to your charms
I place the blame upon you
I see the slow waltz of the days
The moon casts light upon us all
I see you with opaque eyes
And I pretend you're mine
I carry my loneliness in my wallet
you carry yours on your red purse
You left your dreams on your corner
the same place I found mine
We are so hopeless
Yet so naïve
We started to swim
After we already drowned
Yeah, I bought a fantasy
Which I forgot to leave
I submit myself to your charms
I place the blame upon you

Mother
Mother told me things
I wanted to learn
Now I've got some things
I want to learn
Mother, can you teach me
Once again?
Brother told me things
I wanted to learn
Now I've got a lot of things
I want to learn
Brother, can you teach me
Once again?
Sitting in my room
Drinking shampoo
Playing my guitar I know, I know
Anywhere, no one cares.
Brother, can you teach me
Once again?

Bombs fall like rotten apples
on an untended orchard
Neither silence nor noise
can fully contain the horror
Thousands flee side by side
united by a will to survive
Thousands venture on flimsy boats
their hopes, vessels that always float
We're the educated and civilized
who'd steal the little you could gather
We'd rather send you back to hell
than gaze at you on a Sunday evening
Regardless of how well
you might behave
we'll hate you and demand
gratefulness for our tolerance
We'll elect the worst bigots
dyed in orange and dead inside
We'll blame fear and frustration
for our own latent racism

Broken People

Streets are cold
And I still have to wait
The semaphore to get closed
I've received the news from the Pope
He was old,
He was old
Older than you
My hands look frozen
And I thought I was dead
Broken people everywhere
Broken people everywhere
Broken people everywhere
Broken people everywhere

Lost inside my own cage
relying on my shackles for guidance
all symbols we need come from silence
maybe we shouldn't talk about it
Perhaps we should take a chance
or am I being too bold too early?
I can retract my early statements
so we can share awkward complicity
I might be losing control, but God forbid me I'd show
I might be losing control, but God forbid me I'd show
I might be losing control, but God forbid me I'd show
Alone outside my horizon
relying on my intuition
all our meaning like white noise
shall we turn a deaf ear...
Do we have any choice but to dare?
or is it too late for me to care?
I will stand by my contradictions
so you can detest me even further
